STOPit! That’s a new technology being used to fight bullying and protect students.
Hardeman County Schools have partnered with STOPit and held a rally this week to introduce the new app to their students.
The kids can download it on their smartphones.
It’s an anonymous way to report, deter, or provide follow up information about cyber abuse and harassment.
The app also allows school leaders to conduct anonymous conversations with students to find out more about problems with bullying and harassment.
I say kudos to the Hardeman County School system for bringing this new app to their students.
It’s progressive thinking that no doubt will make a difference for these young people.
Putting a stop to bullying always makes this A Better Mid-South.
