OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Piedmont Public Schools is introducing the app STOPit to their students January 11.
STOPit is an app for schools that deters and controls harmful or inappropriate conduct.
Students can safely and anonymously report anything of concern to school officials like bullying, threats, or self-harm using STOPit.
School officials can see pictures, videos, or text from the students which they said will help them address the issues sooner rather than later.
Piedmont Public Schools said they’re dedicated to their mission: Empowering students to succeed in a changing world. Every student. Every day. and STOPit is helping them with their mission.
