(WTNH) – A school district in Wisconsin is using technology to crack down on bullying.
The district in Gilman launched a new app on Monday that allows students to anonymously report bullying.
The app is called “Stop-It.”
The Gilman school’s principal says it will make a big difference.
“We want to empower our students how they can stand up for themselves as well as each other. Through Stop-It, students have the opportunity to report inappropriate behavior, any type of bullying, online behavior that’s inappropriate,” explained Principal Jon Hess.
Many students have already downloaded the app.
